Who We Are

All Georgia Tech students, faculty, and alumni are welcome. No dues. No gatekeeping.

The Four Essential Freedoms
What makes software "free" according to the Free Software Foundation:
Use the program for any purpose.
Read and understand the source code.
Change it to suit your needs.
Redistribute copies to others.
Licensing Policy
All LibreTech Collective projects must use a Free Software license.
- ✅ Copyleft (preferred)GPL, LGPL, MPL, AGPL, etc.
- ✅ PermissiveMIT, BSD, Apache, etc.
- ❌ Source-available-onlyBSL, SSPL, and similar
Source code must stay publicly viewable, modifiable, and redistributable.
"Source-available" licenses don't protect user freedoms, regardless of how they're marketed. We won't accept them.
